Enrichment Time

Students will be expected to behave while participating in the after school classes and enrichment activities.  If a child cannot control himself or herself after a verbal warning, a warning letter of behavior issues will be sent home.  If bad behavior continues the child will be asked to leave the program.

             

Enrichment time: 5-6pm.

 Students must attend a 4:00-5:00 instructional class in order to participate in the enrichment part of the program, (instruction and enrichment on the same day)   Students may attend one – four days a week. Enrichment time: 5-6pm.  All enrichment dismissals will be at BMS at 6pm unless otherwise arranged with Mrs. Slingerland.

 Enrichment classes: You can choose one per day for the session. Write choice on front page.

Monday: Public Library-movie day, Getting Fit with Mr. Bryant-at school, Minecraft-limit 20-at school.

Tuesday: B.U.G.-gardening at Bedford Urban Gardens-limit 12, Zumba with Ms. Bell at school, Art Creations at school w/ Mrs. Halsey-painting, seasonal crafts and more. Limit 12

Wednesday: YMCA-swimming (bring a towel & suit), Coding-at school w/ Mr. Booth, Golf lessons at Bedford Golf Club -beginner, they will have clubs to use, limit 12.

Thursday:  Public Library-Minecraft, games,-limit 20, Zumba w/ Ms. Bell, B.U.G. at Bedford Urban Gardens-limit 12

 Students will be transported by school bus to enrichment locations, and returned for dismissal.

 Due to an anticipated high number of students wanting to participate, preference will be given to students who return their forms by day…Monday first, etc. or as recommended by teachers.
